Downloads

Starting from 3.5.3 release we tries to have stuff mirrored. Currently we use Ewi (Netherlands) as our primary site. Same machine is also used as one of OpenEmbedded servers.

Important: Not every mirror carries all releases.

All mirrors will be set into a round-robin mode so if one fails others will still work and users should not even notice it - no change to ipkg configuration will be needed (Note: This is currently not yet implementd)

Yeah, love how the mirrors are all broken! isn’t the point of mirroring to make it EASIER to download?

The Ewi server does not respond and the PDAi mirror responds with an error. This is particularly bad since ipkg is configured to use ewi feeds and cannot connect.

PDAi seems to have been deleted, Hentges hasn’t got the full feed for 3.5.4 and ewi is down.

    Awwwww. . . .

oz.pdai.org project was closed because no one would give us access to mirror the feeds after they were moved off sf.net… sorry there was nothing for us to do. I had talked to hrw, mickley.. koen.. but was denied access more than once. =-(

Relatively experienced user- (started with a SL5000D)- but I have had trouble over the years installing non-base applications.

1)Where do I get non-base apps (multimedia, networking etc) for the latest ROM

    2)Where can I find a how-to to install them?

    I have Opie 1.2.1 installed on a SL5500 (using the 48/16 zImage).

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi all,

and congrats for your new release!
What about the plans for additional images, e.g. based on xfce or e17 ?

    Greetings from Hamburg,

Want an older version? (Like for those of us unfortunates that have Collies and aren’t supported yet with 3.5.4.1) Here is the link:
