The OpenZaurus wiki, never a paragon of stability, appears to have finally failed hard. Over the next few weeks we’ll move it from BerliOS to linux-to-go, upgrade to the latest version of MediaWiki, repair the search functionality, and perform some cleanups.
When it’s ready, the wiki will be better than ever. Until then, a read-only copy can be found at http://ozwiki.u32.net.

After few years of being hosted on SourceForge we moved to new home: LinuxToGo. This gives us faster access to website with more storage and possibility to keep some stuff on same place:
We will still use mailing lists on SourceForge because switching them to new home would need everyone to subscribe manually and add unnecessary chaos.

After some coding I want to present Feed browser - tool which can be used to browse OpenZaurus 3.5.4/3.5.4.1 feeds to check for software.
This tool was first written for Ångström distribution, then it got improved and filled with OZ data. It need some love to be finished but this will take some time - most important addon would be searching for package names (currently not yet implemented).
I hope you will enjoy this tool.

Over the last few days we have been setting up a Wiki working so work on documentation/faq/howtos should be easier. Today I want to share this info with users.

Like you can see in menu howto section was split into language sections. If you want to make translation of something or even have them available and want to share - feel free to contact with us.

OpenZaurus website is upgraded to WordPress 2.0. I also disabled possibility to register.

As many of you noticed openzaurus.org is slow. Few days a go mirror was created here - it should be much faster.
In next few days it will be main feed location as we have to free space on SourceForge server.

Today our website switched to MySQL 4.1 (as have all SourceForge project websites). Now it should work faster.

As you can see we moved our website to Wordpress. One of most important reason is that previous version was hard to navigate - searching for content was taking many clicks, nearly noone wanted to help with writing content etc.
And as Wordpress is “blog engine” we (OZ developers) will try to inform you (users) more often what is happening between releases, what on we are working now etc.
If you want to help us with content of website then please register and we will send you password and give access to service. Let it be more users friendly service then it was before.
