rename root file system to 'initrd.bin'
rename kernel image to 'zImage'

copy files to VFAT formatted CF card and insert it
attach AC
switch off power and detach BATTERY COVER
hold C+D while pressing RESET BUTTON
wait until flashing (NOT BLINKING!) lights are off
press RESET BUTTON
attach BATTERY COVER and switch on power
hold OK to boot your Zaurus
enjoy!

note: the first boot takes longer than subsequent reboots
